Blackberry is a very special doe, being our first ever 4H goat and what started the journey for us.  She spent the first years of her life in not the best of conditions.  When I went to bring her home as a 3 year old, her owner carried her out to me under one arm.  Happily she now weights over 60 lbs and it takes two of us to load her into the car!  She has a firecracker of a personality and is the first to greet everybody and push her way in to get the love she feels she deserves.  Very inquisitive by nature, she is always in the thick of things when you are working on a project.  She is a dream to hand milk with large teats and orifices and a soft textured udder that collapses into nothing.
